Privacy Policy

This explains what Modelink collects, why, and what you can do about it. We aim to collect only what the service needs.

01 What we collect

• Account — your email, a hashed password, and your role.
• Profile & media — everything you put on your page: name, bio, photos, video, services, availability, and contact details.
• Requests — the collaboration requests you send or receive, and the messages within them.
• Usage — privacy-preserving counters (e.g. page views) aggregated per day, not tied to individual visitors.

02 How we use it

To run your page, deliver and track collaboration requests, send you the emails a request generates, keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations. We don't sell your data.

03 What's shown, and to whom

Your public page shows what you choose to publish. Contact details you mark as private are released only to the client of a request you've accepted, and to no one else. Accepting one client's request never exposes your details to anybody else.

04 Cookies

We use a single, strictly-necessary cookie to keep you signed in, and a password-gate cookie for pages that use one. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

05 Storage and security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; access links carry a hash, never the raw token. Media is stored on our infrastructure or a storage provider acting on our behalf. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

06 Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account it's removed after a 30-day recovery window; after that, identifying data is erased. Some records tied to others (for example a review you left, or a moderation decision) may be kept in a form that no longer identifies you.

07 Your rights

You can access and correct your data from your profile, and delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live you may have further rights (access, export, erasure); to exercise them, contact us.

08 Children

Modelink is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
